Yes. All five can be played for as long as you like without paying. All five also sell a premium currency. How much that changes things is covered under Fairness in each write-up.
Press "Play" under the review. It opens the publisher's own site in a new tab. You register there with an email address and play in the browser. We never see your details.
No. Everything here runs in a current Chrome, Firefox, Edge or Safari on a laptop or desktop. Some publishers also have optional apps; the browser version is the complete game.
Two of us play for at least a month and score Play, Depth, Fairness and Polish out of 10. The weighted average (35/25/25/15) is the number. The full method is on the How we score page.
Because we haven't played twenty games long enough to have an honest opinion about them. Five we can defend beats twenty we can't.
No. The "Play" buttons are affiliate links; if you sign up through one the publisher may pay us a fee. Links are added after scores are locked, by whichever of us didn't write that review. Order is by score.
We can't help with anything inside a game, we don't have access to your account. The publisher's support does. If a link on our site is dead or a game has shut down, tell us and we'll fix the page.
Almost nothing. No accounts, no newsletter. If you use the contact form we get what you typed. Analytics are anonymous and aggregated. Details on the Privacy and Cookies pages.
Most of these games ask for 16 or 18 in their own terms, and all have optional purchases. Neopets is the gentlest of the five, but we still wouldn't hand any of them to a young child without a look first. There's more on the Responsible play page.
